Follow the same procedure as for FS 2002. However, you will find that in fs 9 the prop is invisable and the gear will not work visually otherwise the aircraft is flying ok.

When opening the flight simulator you will find the aircraft under Curtiss, then make your choice as to textures
You can toggle the IFR panel by clicking the IFR button. By clicking the trigger button you will hear the machinegun sound. It is also activated by flaps up and down.

Adjust the pilots view with shift and then enter/backspace.
The air file has been modified to permit short carrier landings.When you come over the fantail of a landable carrier (or are about to touchdown on any runway for that matter) hit the spoiler key and the plane will hit the deck and stop in about 200 feet. Don't hit the spoiler key in mid air or the plane will drop like a rock!

Sound
The sound pack is realistic and designed/adjusted especially to this aircraft. I have realized that some parameters in the FD will influense on the sound.You may use the soundpack for other aircrafts but find that they do not sound the same.
